Hello! I am Flitzi, the lovable ghost from Spittal an der Drau. I used to live in old walls and dusty corners, but now I would like to experience new things! Imagine us starting our adventure together, dashing through the streets and discovering unknown places. While Mom and Dad cycle, we sit in the cargo basket and enjoy the view, which is quite a clever idea, right? At the same time, we protect the environment—we float above the ground with our bikes!

You will follow Flitzi in the footsteps of the Romans in the Teurnia Museum, where you can test your knowledge of these ingenious ancestors. The journey continues to the southern shore of Lake Millstätter See. A stop at the shady slow trail beside the lake provides a refreshing pause. As you follow the water up and down, you reach Döbriach and the exciting Sagamundo Storytelling House. Flitzi is already invigorated to immerse himself in the exciting world of legends and fairy tales with you. On the return trip, you drive along the northern shore to Seeboden and from there take the same route via Teurnia back to Spittal.

Adventure Along the Drau River on the Drau Cycle Path Toward Villach

With Flitzi as your guide, you’ll speed along the Drau Cycle Path through the Drau meadows. You will quickly gain some airflow until you reach the cycle rest area before the toll bridges. There, a lavishly laid table with wonderful regional delicacies awaits you (€59 for the set delicacies for 2 adults and 2 children; order at least one day in advance at the Spittal/Drau Tourism Office).
On the return journey, Flitzi recommends a stop at the Egger Buschenschank (tavern) in St. Peter.
Swimming Fun in the Drautalperle
